Meet Delacer
Hi! My name is Delacer, owner of designsbydwick. As I reflect on my life, I ask myself the question, what was my true calling. Am I truly an educator? Well that’s what I’ve done for 12 years. I was born and reared in Thibodaux, La a small town with a population of 14,576. Thibodaux is a neat, clean town and boast of it’s progressiveness because of Nicholls State University.
Thibodaux is where I developed a passion for decorating. Following in my mom’s footsteps, I watched her decorate for numerous occasions. She has been a Wedding Decorator for 20 years. Motivated by my mom, I developed a love for interior design/decorating which, has influenced me to begin Designsbydwick.
My young life’s work has been education. I’ve been an educator for over 12 years. I’ve served as an elementary school teacher and recently a school counselor.
My ultimate joy in life is spending time with my husband, children and family. I also enjoy shopping and traveling the world.
